IQRA Quran Competition Jan 2026
Welcome to the IQRA Quran Competition 2026 a special event for our students and community, designed to encourage deep connection with the Qur’an through memorization, recitation, and tajweed. As part of the IQRA family, we invite you to participate, grow, and shine with your Qur’an journey.
The Main Objective
At IQRA, we believe learning the Qur’an is more than a course — it’s a lifelong journey. This competition aims to:
Motivate students to bring their best in memorization, tajweed, and recitation
Foster confidence, discipline, and love for Qur’an within our global community.
Celebrate excellence: highlight students who work diligently and sincerely with their parents’ support.
Strengthen brotherhood/sisterhood
— let’s grow together in a spirit of respect, humility, and encouragement.
Who Can Join?
All Muslim children under 16 years old can participate in our competition. And to ensure fairness and proper evaluation, the competition is divided into three main age groups. Each group will be judged separately:
Age Group "A"
5 – 8 years
Age Group "B"
9 – 12 years
Age Group "C"
13 – 16 years
✅ Each participant competes only within their age group. ✅ Winners are selected per category AND per age group
How It Works
The First Round
Video Submissions
👉 Group A (5-8 years old):
Record video of you reciting Quran from Surah Al Mutaffifin (سورة المطففين).
👉 Group B (9-12 years old):
Record video of you reciting Quran from Surah Al Insan (سورة الانسان).
👉 Group C (13-16 year old):
Record video of you reciting (Surat Al Qamar 1-27 ) (سورة القمر 1-27).
The Second Round
Community Voting
🔷 The second round will be between the first three contestants, who will be selected by the judges from each group in the first round.
🔷 The audience will vote during the second round, and the result of the voting will determine the winner in each age group.
Evaluation Criteria
Judges will assess based on:
- Tajweed & correct pronunciation.
- Fluency, confidence, and recital rhythm.
- Voice clarity and recitation beauty.
- Adab (manners and respect during recitation).
Competition Prizes
– Winners:
- Group A (5-8): $50 + one month of free classes
- Group B (9-12): $75 + one month of free classes
- Group C (13-16): $100 + one month of free classes
– Other finalists: One month of free classes
– All Participants: Will receive a Participation Certificate recognizing their effort and achievement.

Terms & Conditions
1- By participating in the competition, you and your parents agree to abide by all the competition’s General Terms and Conditions (GTCs).
2- The age of the contestant must not exceed 16 years.
3- By sharing in the competition, you agree to announce and design an encouraging video for any of the participants.
4- The competition administration has the right to adjust any rules or conditions or delay any of the deadline plan dates.
5- The competition administration has the right to use any videos for future marketing purposes.
